Honor Roll!!!

The Honor Roll assembly was held today. I think that our boys brought home half the kindergarten certificates!!! Brendan was so proud of himself.
We are proud of him also.

For missing the entire first half of kindergarten, he is doing amazing. He is not behind in anything. His teachers tell me he is incredibly bright and catches on very quickly (no surprise there) Perhaps he is naturally gifted, but I think it all goes back to what he was being taught at home. Kudos to you mom.

Picture Day

It was picture day today, you would have thought it was Christmas. Excitement filled the air as the boys scrounged to find their favorite outfits to be photographed in. "I love picture day, I wish every day were picture day" Brendan repeated.

Not wanting to be left out Kinsey talked me into doing her hair and convinced me that we would take pictures at home.

Family Home Evening

For Family Home Evening this week we got together with several other families and had a weinie roast complete with beans and s'mores.

It was cold and dirty, but what fun is a wienie roast without a little dirt and having to hover around the fire? Everyone had a great time.

Brendan had THREE hot dogs!!! "Are you sure you can finish that?" "Yes, I am sure." And he did, but one hour later a whisper in my ear "Mom, my tummy doesn't feel so good." Hmmm. Imagine that.

"Let's go fly a kite"

Grandpa's farm

What's that we hear? Aunt Ivy, Kinsy, and Allison press their ears to the steel door and strain to hear the chirping of the thousands and thousands of brand new little chickens just delivered today.

"They are kissing me" says pretty little blue eyes as the little chickens overwhelm her feet.
Soon she decided that they were to friendly
for her liking, so I pulled her back over the fence.

Grandpa then took the girls on the coveted tractor ride from the chicken houses back up to Nana's house, "again, again" cries pretty blue eyes.
